RJC Committee elect a new Chairman and Deputy Chairman.

The Rockhampton Jockey Club Management Committee elected Brandon Diplock to the position of Chairman, at last night’s meeting of the committee.
Mr. Diplock succeeds Rob Carr, who due to health concerns, last week stepped down from the Club Chairman position which he held for 10 years.
Long serving Committeeman and past Chairman, Bill Ouston was elected to fill the Deputy Chairman position, left vacant by Mr. Diplock.
Mr Diplock has served as Deputy Chairman for the past two years and has been a member of the Management Committee since September 2023. During that time, he has played an active role in the Club’s governance and strategic direction, providing a strong foundation as he assumes the role of Chairman.
The Rockhampton Jockey Club Committee will hold the annual general meeting of members at Callaghan Park on 16 September.
