Rocky filly chasing black type at Eagle Farm Saturday.

Berserker trainer Clinton Taylor will be hoping he can kick off Brisbane’s exciting Group 1 triple header Saturday at Eagle Farm with a black-type winner in the first race.
Taylor will saddle his very smart filly Don’tdoubtthelady in the $160,000 Listed Show A Heart 2YO (1500m) but the local galloper will have the odds stacked against her with only six fillies winning the race in the last 25 years. Barawin (2001), Chickens (2002), Serenote (2004), Sagaronne (2015), The Actuary (2020), and Azula (2023) are the only fillies to beat the colts and geldings in the race.
To be ridden by Justin Stanley, Don’tdoubtthelady will be given every chance for a major success, running from barrier five.
At odds of $19.00 Don’tdoubtthelady represents tremendous each-way value. Don’tdoubtthelady and Stanley finished third in the Listed Bill Carter (1350m) at Doomben at their latest pairing on 24 May.
Don’tdoubtthelady (Dubious – Teeka) has two wins to its credit, her most recent in Mackay over 1200m on 1 May.
