WALK down MEMORY LANE – WITH Tony McMahon

This is a 1990 clipping in The Morning Bulletin leading up to what is now the Capricornia Yearling Sale Carnival. The year was hugely significant offering  the inaugural $100K Powers Bitter Central CQ Breeders 2YO  Classic. A fortune at the time. Len and Lyn Milner’s Palm View Stud, Pink Lily played a huge role in CQ breeding selling yearlings in Rocky from the late eighties consecutively each year up and to including  Palm View’s last draft in 2011. Palm View played an integral role in the CYS 2Y0 Classic during its formative and subsequent years. For instance their resident stallion Garrison Savannah sired 2011 CYS Classic winner Bonny The Viper. The Milner’s retired some years ago and reside in Rockhampton but are still keen followers of the local racing and breeding industry to which they made a lifetime contribution in many roles. Enjoy Len and Lyn – Tony McMahon.
