HELL IS A LIVE CHANCE IN BRISBANE

One Syndications-owned racehorse Hell is back in Brisbane tomorrow chasing its second metropolitan victory in the $75,000 Gibson Plate (1200m) at Eagle Farm.

Hell was heavily backed at $11 when betting opened and within hours shortened into $5 and less on some totes. He is likely to start much shorter. The four-year-old will be ridden by apprentice Emily Lang. The Nick Walsh-trained Hell has won four races from his last six starts and in late August, he notched his first metro win at Doomben.

Ridden by Ron Stewart. Hell scored its most significant win to date, getting the money in the $85,000 Restricted 0 Metro Wins Handicap (1350m), defeating Warby. That was his latest start with Walsh freshening up the Hellbent – Miss Wonderland gelding last month. Hell is shooting for a hattrick of wins, with its previous start resulting in a victory in Townsville in late July, where he strolled home in a BM60 Handicap (1200m) by 5.5 lengths.

The speedy galloper also won twice at his home track, Rocky’s Callaghan Park in April.  Hell has been a great advertisement for One Syndications with the 15-person ownership group for this horse managed by Brandon Diplock. In an open betting race tomorrow Tony Gollan’s John Rambo; Matt Dunn’s Midori Beauty and the Adam Campton-trained Catwalk Criminal are well-fancied.
