Hell is Rockhampton’s hottest racehorse with four straight wins at his last four starts, including another commanding victory in Brisbane last Saturday.

The Nick Walsh-trained flyer treated his opposition with contempt in the BM78 Handicap (1200m) at Doomben. Ridden by apprentice jockey Emily Lang, Hell started as the odds-on favourite and Lang dictated the race tempo in front. Getting away with cheap sectional’s early, Hell was far too good for Weigall Tiger (Aiden Thompson, winning by 2.12 lengths. Ocean’s Of Energy (Andrew Mallyon) finished third. Hell is raced by One Syndications with its ownership group managed by RJC Deputy Chairman, Brandon Diplock.

The four-year-old gelding by Hellbent from three times winner,  Miss Wonderland (by Snitzel) has quickly become the syndicator’s banner horse with his prizemoney now over $200,000. A former Victorian, Hell was purchased at the Inglis January (late) online sales for $35,000 by One Syndications. Since arriving at Callaghan Park he has won six times, beginning with a Rockhampton Maiden last April. After his initial win, Hell won another race at Callaghan Park and again in Townsville before his latest three Brisbane metropolitan wins. Hell won at Doomben in August, Eagle Farm in October and again at Doomben last week.

RJC CEO, David Aldred.
